Surajgarh Fort is an eighteenth century fortified palace that has been lovingly converted to a luxurious hotel.  "Surajgarh" literally means "The Castle of The Sun". The fort gives guests the experience of living like the royalty of a bygone era.

The fort dominates the ancient town of Surajgarh, on the edge of a vast Rajasthani dessert. The town is full of unrestored havelis (colorfully-decorated mansions of long-gone merchants), which visitors can easily explore.

Surajgarh Fort offers direct tile telephones, cable television, a swimming pool, and dining in a magnificent, palatial rooftop dining hall. Guests will also enjoy cultural performances of village people, which may include puppetry, music and dance.
