The Scarlet is one of the most unusual hotels we have found in a long time. If you want to stay somewhere far more interesting than a boxy chain hotel with its tacky factory-produced furniture, hospital room decor and kilometer after kilometer of bland wall-to-wall carpet, Singapore's first luxury boutique hotel is an excellent choice.

Here in the midst of Singapore's version of Soho, a 1924 art deco building and an entire block of shop-houses have been transformed into an award-winning hotel.  It is surrounded by chic boutiques, galleries, some of the city's most celebrated restaurants and gayest nightlife. Each of the hotels eighty rooms is different. Dramatic uses of lighting, vibrant colors, textures and flamboyant decoration all work together to make a powerful design statement that is simultaneously stimulating, soothing, and always entertaining.

The Scarlet's amenities include all of the things you would expect from a world class hotel, including large flat-panel televisions, DVD players, pool, health club, and free internet access. While this is a non-smoking hotel, smokers will enjoy one of the hotel's Executive Rooms with balcony. The hotel has two restaurants, including an outdoor rooftop venue with some of Singapore's most spectacular views.

Our package uses an Executive Room. Executive Rooms with Balcony, Premium Rooms, and one of the hotel's five whimsically-themed suites are available at an additional cost. When you compare hotel internet rates with our packages, remember that our price includes tax, service and breakfast as well as sightseeing with a personal guide. We normally offer better rooms than hotel booking websites.

We have worked with The Scarlet since 2008. Like all of the hotels Purple Dragon uses, The Scarlet is gay friendly. You do not have to be gay to enjoy our travel programs. We have a growing number of mainstream customers who know they will get superior service and quality from a gay company.
