The legendary Grand is a French Colonial building dating to the 1930s. It has been restored to is present grandeur. Public rooms have ceiling fans and sprawling verandas. The ancient elevator is quite famous. You might expect to see Somerset Maugham and Ernest Hemingway enjoying spirited conversation, a Scotch and a good cigar in the bar.

The rooms are simple but elegant, decorated with a combination of deco and Khmer decor. The high ceilings make them seem very spacious. Daily buffet breakfast and dinner are included. Compulsory dinner (at an extra charge) on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

Facilities include smoking/non smoking rooms, personal vallet, two-line telephone, phone in bathroom, in-room safe, satellite TV, library, shops, two swimming pools, tennis, exercise trail, spa, internet access, several bars and four restaurants.

Our packages include a Superior room. Suites are available at a surcharge. When you compare hotel internet rates with our packages, remember that our price includes tax, service and breakfast as well as sightseeing with a personal guide. We normally offer better rooms than hotel booking websites.

We have worked with Grand Hotel d'Angkor  since 2003. Like all of the hotels Purple Dragon uses, The Grand is gay friendly. You do not have to be gay to enjoy our travel programs. We have a growing number of mainstream customers who know they will get superior service and quality from a gay company.
